The grass is always browner

Thanks Nikki once again for 'Touch the Silence'. (Aug 3rd)
While sitting reading this in a deliciously quiet medical library, I felt how much I valued things I once fought long and hard against.
Example?
The sound of silence.
Being a devotee of rock, pop and soul I have always cranked up the volume.
But now find speakers cause too much 'fold-back' on my system.
I crave the quieter life.
It is probably a case of the grass is always greener.
But in Australia, the grass is always browner.
