Animals are valued family members.

Domestic animals try very hard to stay within our rules. Instinctive behaviours like being territorial and trying to kill things run deep. I don't see how you can keep an animal inside 24 hours a day, dog or cat. It seems cruel, not what nature intended. Animals are valued family members. At least your neighbour could offer some sympathy?
